As we all navigate our new world together in the effort to keep one another safe and well, The Big Muddy Dance Company is doing everything possible to fulfill its mission of invigorating life through dance, now at home and phasing back into the studio with our COVID-19 Health and Safety Procedures in place. Please see below for the company’s responses to the COVID-19 crisis, and updates to programming and communication.

  • All ongoing classes will be now be available both in-person and online!  Get a monthly unlimited streaming membership to our uploaded classes to take on your own schedule at home, as well as access to our live Zoom ballet classes, Monday- Saturday.  We will be offering in-person classes at our studio with limited capacity.  Reserve your in-person spot in advance.

  • The Big Muddy Dance Fest, September 19-20, will be moving to an online/in-studio hybrid program, based on local and CDC recommendations. You can participate from home or join us in the studio for a full weekend of master classes, panel discussions, workshops, and auditions!

  • The company dancers have been working with Artistic Director Brian Enos on creating dance work videos from a distance- check out our most recent creations, Several Dreams and The Moth.  We are also honored to collaborate during this unprecedented pandemic to continue creation with Arts United STL, OmniARTS Foundation, Newcore Streamathon, and St. Louis Shakespeare Festival on their upcoming headliner event.

  • We are working hard to stay connected with our Senior Embrace audiences at retirement homes through Zoom hands-on workshops, video repertoire, and training sessions with caregivers!
